THE PRIMARY PURPOSE of the school is to meet the needs of the children in Haiphong who require this type of education with a view to continuing their education in their home countries with a minimum of adjustment problems. This program is also offered to Vietnamese citizens who seek this education with a view to higher studies outside of Vietnam. In addition to its scholastic goals, the school endeavors to provide its students with knowledge and understanding of Vietnam and its culture.

THE CURRICULUM includes English (reading, grammar, composition, and spelling), mathematics, cultural studies (history, geography, economics, etc.), science, computer literacy, art, music, and physical education as part of the regular program. Vietnamese culture and language are a part of every student's program of studies. Field trips are planned as part of the curriculum. Textbooks are loaned to students without charge.
